Raghly to Knocknarea Mountain – Print
This Limited Edition Giclée print is an image of an original art piece by Sligo artist Alison Hunter. The original art work was hand needle felted using wool fibres and hand stitched details. It features the view from Raghly in North Sligo across the sea to Knocknarea Mountain and Strandhill village. Blackrock Lighthouse is seen clearly in the sea between the two places. Knocknarea mounatin is easily recognisable on Sligo’s landscape along the Wild Atlantic Way. On it’s summit is a cairn which is said to be the tomb of Queen Medb, the warrior Queen of Connaught. Raghly is a naturally stunning location with a wonderful loop walk.
Printed with fade resistant, pigmented inks on acid free Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper and mounted using acid free mountboards. Framed prints are framed using limed white timber frames with glass. Each print is numbered and signed by the artist. Print run of 150 prints.
